We are a Perth, Australia based research group that works primarily in the fields of brain plasticity and translational neuroscience. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment with diverse study opportunities to suit all neuroscience interests from the bench to the bedside.
The Brain Plasticity Lab’s research explores the physiological, cellular and molecular basis of brain plasticity in order to develop therapeutic strategies to improve brain plasticity in patients, with the goal of developing effective treatments for patients with neurotrauma and neurological disease. This includes utilizing non-invasive brain stimulation techniques such as repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and transcranial direct current stimulation.
Students
We always welcome new Honors, Masters and PhD students. Our research scope is broad, covering basic science through to clinical trials so there is something for everyone.
